Bio: A little about me…. I have worked with young children and in early childhood for over twenty years, ranging from infants and preschool and up to school age, in a variety of backgrounds and educational settings. I gained my bachelor’s degree from Cal State University of Northridge in Child and Adolescent Development in 2006 and recently received my masters from Eastern Washington University in Early Childhood Education.
I joined the Hilltop team in August of 2021 as an infant teacher, inspired by the value the institute holds for children, educators, and the early childhood profession. It shows in all the work they do to change the view of the field, empower teachers, and in their commitment to upholding equity. My career is not only a job but a life-long passion.
