A Place for Every Child and Family

Hilltop Children’s Center is a nonprofit early childhood education and development organization with centers in the Fremont and Queen Anne neighborhoods. We welcome children from 6 weeks through 12 years old, providing nurturing, engaging environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

We welcome all students and families, no matter their financial circumstances. We believe every child deserves a place where they feel loved, empowered, and supported while enjoying a high-quality learning experience—regardless of race, income, identity, or background.

To help make high-quality childcare accessible to more families, we accept tuition subsidy funding through programs including Working Connections Child Care (WCCC), Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), Best Starts for Kids (BSK), and other qualifying assistance programs.

At Hilltop, we are committed to creating an inclusive community where every child and family feels welcomed, valued, and a true sense of belonging.

• Over 200 children from a wide diversity of families thriving in our care
• 20 welcoming classrooms for infants, toddlers, early preschool, preschool, and school-age children
• Licensed by the Washington Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), ensuring safety and health standards are met
• Small group sizes to better support individual needs, exceeding state required adult-to-child ratios
• Dedicated mentor educators supporting classrooms in building curriculum, incorporating developmental research, and offering engaging learning and play
