Hilltop Seeking Board Treasurer + Finance Committee Volunteers
12/2/2025 — Hilltop Children’s Center is seeking a new Board Treasurer to join our volunteer Board of Directors. The Treasurer plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the financial health, transparency, and long-term sustainability of our organization.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in accounting, finance, or nonprofit management who is passionate about equitable early learning and wants to contribute their expertise in a meaningful way to support Hilltop’s stability and mission.
Responsibilities include:

Overseeing the organization’s financial management and reporting

Supporting annual budget development and audit processes

Presenting financial updates to the Board

Serving as a bank signatory and member of the Finance Committee
Estimated commitment is 3-4 hours per month, including monthly Board meetings. The role is supported by the Finance Committee (Hilltop’s part-time bookkeeper, Executive Director, and parent volunteers) and engaged Board leadership team.
We are also seeking volunteers for the Finance Committee, for anyone with similar skill sets as the Treasurer but perhaps less capacity: estimated commitment is roughly 1-2 hours per month, with responsibilities primarily involving financial statement review and analysis.
