OPEN Position
From an early age, I knew that working with children was my passion. I have over 15 years of experience working and volunteering in youth programs. I have previously worked as a youth program coordinator for youth sports, after-school site Director, visitation supervisor for foster youth, a counselor for foster, troubled, and runaway teens, and pre-K teacher. I have led multiple after-school programs, and have coached, reffed, and organized sporting events for over 10 years. Being a positive role model in a young child’s life and being able to watch them grow and learn, discover and play, has helped me see things from a whole new perspective. I love what I do and I love coming up with unique ways of helping the families and children I work with move forward in reaching their goals. I truly believe that the goal of childhood education should be to activate the children’s own natural desire to learn and to play. children can bring out the child in you and they definitely bring out the child in me.
